Today, we’re proud to announce that we have raised £14M in growth investment in a funding round led by Mark and Lindy O’Hare’s Valhalla Ventures. This marks their first investment since the record-setting sale of Prequin to Black Rock in 2025, and an important milestone in our journey.

This investment comes at a pivotal moment for our business.

In recent years, we have seen significant growth as we work with large, complex legal organisations facing increasing pressure to deliver drafting work at greater scale, with greater consistency, and under closer scrutiny. That growth has been driven by a clear mission: to help law firms and legal teams turn precedent and institutional knowledge into drafting systems that can be reused, supervised, and improved over time.

We have long believed that AI is not a replacement for the processes legal teams already rely on. Instead, its value comes from being embedded safely within the rules-based automation frameworks that firms already trust. As generative AI moves from experimentation into day-to-day operations, that distinction matters more than ever.

Law firms are now confronting a new constraint: drafting at scale is no longer just about speed. It requires structured systems, governance, and oversight. Without that foundation, the benefits of AI are difficult to realise consistently or safely.

We have spent the last decade building the drafting infrastructure needed to meet that challenge. Our platform is designed for high-volume, high-variation legal work, enabling firms to apply AI in a way that preserves institutional consistency, supports supervision, and maintains accuracy across matters.

This new capital will help us build on that foundation. We will use it to expand our US footprint and to extend the platform’s capabilities so we can support even more legal organisations as they modernise their drafting operations without compromising quality or control.

We’re excited about what comes next, not just for our business, but for the firms and legal teams we serve. The legal sector is entering a new phase, where operationalising AI responsibly will matter far more than simply adopting it. We believe the future belongs to organisations that combine generative AI with structured drafting systems, strong governance, and deep institutional knowledge.

This investment is a strong endorsement of that vision, and of the work our team has done to bring it to life.

We can’t wait to show you what’s next.
